Story
I have gratitude for all the creative expression mediums. Art brings me into the present moment. Into the now! My love of photography is freezing that moment in time and sharing it with the world. Art seems to erase the vicissitudes of life and provides me with balance, calmness, and clarity. This place is where I find happiness.
Photography inspires me to be a better person and look for the good. It opens my eyes to all the beauty that surrounds me.
“Gone Fishing” was taken at Howell pond in North Carolina in fall of 2020.The photograph captures the last days of fall when the brilliant array of colored leaves are floating to the ground. The man fishing is symbolic of the journey to fish, not about how many you catch. This activity, like art, is timeless and ageless.
