Story
I am an abstract painter, using oil and cold wax, and have been painting for about 12 years. I began painting later in life, as I was inspired by the senior artists who were residents at the skilled nursing center where I worked. Most had never painted before, and their art was beautiful. I named this painting Safe Harbor, because to me, the boat has obviously weathered a storm, but ultimately found a safe place to land. It made me think of storms we experience in our lives, looking for our safe places to land.
