A little about me...
Wylie (named by his Foster family after Wily Coyote because they thought he looked like one) came to Houston from The Valley via Camo Rescue in February 2020. Although the paperwork shows he was "turned in by owner" he may have been a street dog as he was very skittish with people and jumpy at noises, cars, the barks of other dogs, etc. and protected his food and treats. He gets better with all that every day. He is a 12 lb. wire haired terrier mix – looking like a cross between The Tramp and Yoda. He came into my life on May 15, 2020 and he is now loving, protective and a ball of energy and fun - he must play run-rat-run every morning while helping me make the bed, visit his kitty friends across the street at least once a day and have a nap on my chest in the recliner every afternoon during which he turns to jelly and is loath to wake (he will fall back asleep if I don't nudge him to get up). He has made living through the pandemic much easier; he makes me smile and laugh every day and we are blessed to have each other.
