Join us for a Facebook Live feed of Kitten Prr-rom on April 30 at 5 p.m.! Kittens will be in their best formal wear, “dancing” and purr-ing the night away as they get ready for summer break. Every vote you make provides future prom queens and kings like the kittens you see here a second chance while finding their forever homes.

Use your vote ($1 = 1 vote) to help us crown the next Kitten Prr-rom king and queen!


The kittens with the most votes will be crowned as Prr-rom King and Queen during the Kitten Prr-rom on Thursday, April 30.


All you have to do is place 15 votes for your choice of Prr-rom King or Queen! Once we've crowned the Prr-rom King and Queen, we will randomly select FIVE individuals who placed at least 15 votes for an opportunity to book a kitten adoption appointment (for one of these five kittens). 

If your name is drawn, we will call you after the event ends and you will have until 7 pm to book your kitten appointment on Friday, May 1st. Kitten appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. All kitten appointments must be completed by 7 pm on Friday, May 1st. 

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) is Iowa's largest nonprofit animal shelter, caring for many thousands of pets each year.
