APA's King and Queen - Best of the Best
It is a prestigious and rare honor to be nominated for the APA's Canine King and Queen at our annual Canine Carnival, let alone becoming king or queen. Plus, it's a tough job to do the nominating with 4,000+ adoptions happening at our Adoption Center each year. Not to mention we've been around for 99 years! Do the math…that's a lot of dogs to pick from.
So, we had a brilliant idea! Why not let someone else do the nominating, that way we ensure not one dog is left behind! (That's what we are all about here, isn't it?!)
This year's
King and Queen - Best of the Best nominations for Canine Court are up to
YOU! We have invited back our previous winners to compete to see who is top dog! Think your pup is up for the challenge to beating out our previous King's and Queen's?! You can nominate your favorite canine companion
HERE. Anyone can nominate any dog! It can be your dog, a friend's dog, a neighbor's dog. Any breed. Any age. From anywhere. We don't want to leave anyone out.
Once a dog is nominated, people will vote for who they think should be this year's
King & Queen - Best of the Best. Each dog will receive its own webpage with an individual link to share with their pack for easily accessible voting.
Nominations are open from until Monday, September 20
th. Then, nominees will be narrowed down to the top 4 males (Kings) and top 4 females (Queens) with the most votes on Monday, September 27
th. Voting will then continue until 9:00pm on Sunday, October 3
