This prize will be awarded to the entry in the dog category that has the highest votes, excluding the winner of the grand prize, if applicable. 

Celebrate your ‘pawlentine’ with this top dog prize! This package includes a dog gift basket from Clark’s Pet Emporium full of toys, treats, and Clark’s gift certificate; a Wet Paws Mobile Grooming Gift Certificate for $100; and a Fi Smart Dog Collar. 

This prize will be awarded to the entry in the cat category that has the highest votes, excluding the winner of the grand prize, if applicable.

The top-voted winner of the cat category will win a $100 gift certificate to Tomasita’s for the purr-fect Valentine’s dinner date. 
 

This prize will be awarded to the entry in the dog category that has the second-highest votes.

The runner-up in the dog category will receive a delicious basket full of treats and dog-centric goodies from My Furry Godmothers - A Modern Pet Kitchen. 

This prize will be awarded to the entry in the cat category that has the second-highest votes.

The runner-up in the cat category will win a $50 gift certificate to Savoy Bar & Grill for the purr-fect Valentine’s dinner date.

• Photos of dogs and cats are accepted
• Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Animal Humane New Mexico or live in New Mexico to be eligible to enter the contest
• Photos may contain more than one pet
• Photos must only contain domestic pets (no people or wildlife)
• Photos must be full color, no heavily filtered, edited or altered photos
• Photos with professional photographer watermarks must have photographer permission to be submitted
• Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene will be removed from the contest
• Prizes have been pre-selected per category (available to view on the prizes page) There will be one overall winner and two winners each from the dog and cat categories for a total of five winners.
• AHNM employees cannot participate
• All photo entries must be submitted online by 9:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Wednesday, February 12, 2025
• By submitting a photo, you are giving Animal Humane New Mexico the right to use your photo as the organization sees fit
