Born in July 2008, Hope was one of many puppies born to a fostered border collie and pit bull. I met Hope when she was about four to five weeks old and immediately she melted my heart. As I was going through a difficult time in my life, she was my proof that there is goodness in the world. I adopted Hope from the DC shelter when she was eight weeks old. She has been my source of hope and love ever since.
