Pickles has a sketchy past. She was listed for free on Craigslist by someone claiming to have rescued her from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. A volunteer from Southern States Mastiff Rescue responded to the ad and saved her. At the time she was being kept in a garage. The owner said her teeth are worn down from trying to chew through a chain used to restrain her during breeding. Thankfully she was able to leave that horrible life behind. Pickles now has a mastiff brother named Jack and three human kids that dote on her. Pickles is an avid napper. The only time she perks up is when she hears the word "eat".
