Snickers is a very special gift to our family! We had lost our sweet Lily to cancer after 13 years and thought it would take some time to adopt again. But our younger dog was so sad and lonely without his buddy, we soon knew we could not wait. AWLA's great staff helped us find the right fit with our dog and two cats. Snickers needed a little TLC, which we were happy to provide, and from the first day, she showed us how appreciative she was to have a loving home. We feel very lucky she came into our lives and are grateful to AWLA for helping her get this second chance. We want her every day to be just like Christmas!
