A little about me...Hello! I was rescued from the south by Grass Roots Rescue, a great organization. They saved my life as I had a very advanced case of heartworm and I was a stray and in pretty bad shape.
I got all better thanks to a great foster mom, and was adopted in May 2019.
Every morning after my walk, Mom soaked my foot because I had a cyst between my pads. I never moved because I knew I'd get a treat for every minute I'd soak! I couldn't help but drool cause I knew I'd get another treat since I was so good and patient - and sometimes I'd even blow a bubble, like in this picture.
In January 2024 they said I had lymphoma, so before I suffered for even one day Mom sent me across Rainbow Bridge on April 10, 2024. But boy, was I spoiled for those 3 months!
She was heartbroken and I know she misses me very much, and I felt bad leaving, but I'll always be in her heart.
I wasn't here for that long, but I was still one of the lucky ones who found a furever home and was loved and cared for.
So please vote for my memory, and it will help many other of my four legged friends find loving furever homes, too!
XO Tony
