A little about me...
Irene was found on the streets of Baltimore, so matted her eyes were sealed shut. Once they got her eyes opened, they found an ulcer on one of them that had penetrated her eye 95%. Eye drops helped with the healing but were difficult to give. After adopting her we decided to try and save the eye and had a conjunctival graft surgery done on it. It was a success, and Irene has not looked back since. It has been a complete joy watching her blossom into "Rambunctious Reenie" as we call her. She races around the house, full of life, nosing into everybody's business, begging for butt rubs and chicken. Please vote for her so that more dogs like her can be saved and given new lives.
