Thank you for your interest in participating in Eau How Cute! The Eau Claire County Humane Association Pet Photo Contest! The contest is a fun way to show off your furry friend - all while helping homeless animals in our community. All votes placed and all funds raised help the ECCHA care for over 2,500 homeless, lost, abandoned, neglected and abused animals in Eau Claire County.
Prizes
The 12 pet photos that receive the most votes at the contest's conclusion will be our top 12 winners! Grand Prize
The entrant’s photo with the most votes will be on the cover of the Eau How Cute! Eau Claire County Humane Association Pet Photo Contest Calendar. The winner will also receive a 30 minute, private, professional photo session with their pet by Kelsey Hall Photography.
Runner-up
The entrant’s photo with the second most votes will receive gift certificates from Paws and Claws Total Dog and Pet Food Plus, totaling $50.
Third place
The entrant’s photo with the third most votes will receive a special pet basket from ECCHA including pet supplies and ECCHA merchandise.
Photo size must be at least 11' x 8.5' and 300 dpi in order to minimize photo distortion online and in the printed calendar. ECCHA determines the placement of the photos within the calendar
About Us
At the Eau Claire County Humane Association we are dedicated to making this world a better place for animals to live. We strive to help homeless animals find their new, loving, forever homes. Animal education is another large aspect of our mission. By teaching our community about responsible pet ownership and assisting them with the needs of their pets, we hope to decrease the number of homeless animals in our community.
The mission of the Eau Claire County Humane Association is to be a voice for all animals by providing education, resources, and support for the community, compassionate care for homeless animals until they can be placed in forever homes, and coordination with other organizations to promote animal welfare.
ECCHA depends entirely on philanthropic support to care for the animals and run its programs. The shelter receives no financial operating support from donations made to any regional or national animal welfare organizations and is not directly funded through local, state or federal tax dollars.

Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
