Prizes
1st Place
The contestant with the most votes at the close of the contest will be the first place winner. They will receive a professional photoshoot by Jesi Cason Photography, and will be featured on the cover of the 2026 Humane Society of Pinellas Calendar. The winning pet must be physically present at the photoshoot to be scheduled within a few weeks after the contest ends. If the first place winner is not able to meet the specified guidelines and scheduling requirements for the photoshoot, the contestant with the next highest number of votes will be chosen for the cover.
In addition to the photoshoot, the first place winner will receive two (2) complimentary calendars and an HSP Swag Bag.
2nd Place
There will be (11) second place winners. The eleven contestants with the most amount of votes after the first place winner will receive the second place prizes. They will receive a professional photoshoot by Jesi Cason Photography. Each second place pet winner will be featured on one of the months in the 2026 Humane Society of Pinellas calendar. The winning pets must be physically present at the photoshoot within a few weeks after the contest ends. Must be present to redeem prize of professional photo shoot. If cannot be present, the next highest winner will be chosen.
In addition to the photoshoot, the second place winners will also receive one (1) complimentary calendar and an HSP Swag Bag.

Runners up
The top 50 pet fundraisers will have a thumbnail sized version of the photo they submitted of their pet featured on a page in the 2026 Humane Society of Pinellas Calendar.
Rules
Participant Guidelines:
All local pets are encouraged to enter the contest to win a spot in our 2026 Humane Society of Pinellas Calendar! In order to enter your pet, please include:
- Your Pet’s Name
- Your First and Last Name
- Contact Information
- A short bio of your pet (120 words or less)
- High quality photo of your pet (.jpeg or .png accepted)
HSP reserves the right to remove any submissions or comments deemed inappropriate. Donations collected prior to the removal of submissions will not be refunded.
Please be available for a professional photoshoot on October 4th or October 5th.
Photo Requirements:
- High quality images in .jpeg or .png format will be accepted.
- Photo must be of one pet only (please do not include multiple pets or people in photo)
- Submitted photos must be in color (black and white or filtered photos will not be accepted)
- Must be an original photo and may not be copyrighted.
- Any images that include content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene may be removed from the contest.
How to Submit:

To submit your pet’s entry, there is a $10 minimum donation requirement which directly supports the Humane Society of Pinellas. By submitting your photo, you give the Humane Society of Pinellas all rights to print, publish, and reproduce the image.
Voting:
We encourage you to share your submission with friends, family, and loved ones! The pet photo with the most votes will be featured as the Calendar Cover Photo, with the following top (11) winners receiving a spot on a selected month. Top (11) winners will receive a personal photo shoot of their pet with a photographer.
- Each pet photo entry is a $10 donation. Limit of (3) entries per pet owner.
- Every vote requires a $1 donation. There are no limits to the number of votes you may receive.
- Contest will run through September 22nd.
- Entries accepted until midnight (11:59:59 PM Eastern Time) on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
- Voting ends promptly at 9:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Winner Notification:
The winning participants will be contacted by the Humane Society of Pinellas and given instructions on claiming their prizes. The top (12) winners will attend a professional photoshoot at our shelter facility within a few weeks of notification. Must be present to redeem prize for professional photoshoot. If you cannot be present, you will not be chosen as a winner.
- Winners will be notified the week of September 22nd and given information for scheduling your photoshoot.
- Top (12) winners must be available for their pet photoshoot within a few weeks of notification. The photoshoots will take place at the Humane Society of Pinellas shelter.
- Must be available for a photoshoot on October 4th or October 5th.
