Pet's Story or Bio
Last year Sookie was found in a box at a gas station and brought into Young Williams. It was determined that she was only 5 weeks old or so and was diagnosed with Puppy Strangles, an autoimmune disease where her immune system attacked the skin on her muzzle and paws. She was very sick for several weeks while in YW’s foster program. Sookie made a complete recovery and was adopted by her foster mom. The only remnants of being ill, are the spots on her muzzle where her fur did not grow back. Sookie is a rambunctious, head strong little girl who is extremely lovable and a good snuggler. Many friends and family have followed her journey and she greatly loved by all who know her.
