Your Pet's Story or Bio
Trio (formerly Ford) was an owner surrender to the York County SPCA as a very young puppy. He was surrendered with his left front leg severely broken, resulting in an emergency amputation at the shoulder. After his surgery Trio found an amazing foster home, until his Mama say his sweet face and couldn’t resist adopting him. The rest is history! Trio has been home since he was about 6 months old, and July 5, 2023 marks his 7 year adopted-adversary. Trio loves his “white lightening” zoomies around the back yard, and chewing his bones. But he is an old sole, who would prefer to be on the couch most days, however he is the first up to meet you at the door with a tail wag, face lick and his favorite toy, He freelances as a therapy dog, giving attention to anyone who may be upset, and prefers people over other dogs. Although he gets along well with his puppy sister Darla and tolerates his feline sister KiKi. He recently had some cancerous masses removed and has been struggling with separation anxiety - even chewed up his Mama’s Masters Thesis… but he is still her furry best friend! Trios favorite day of the year is photo day at Orendorff Studios where he gets his personal photo shoot while making donations to Bark and the York County SPCA!
