a little about me...
Depending on who you ask, Tessa’s name is a reference to a classic novel, a figure skater, an Italian countess, or an infinity stone… but her personality is all her own. Her most unique feature is a cowlick of hair running down the center of her face, which we fondly refer to as her zipper. Whether she is seeking treats, looking for attention, or feigning cluelessness as she shamelessly breaks the rules, she expertly wields her adorably expressive face and wide, innocent eyes, in order to manipulate the humans around her.

Tessa loves to meet new people but has yet to come to terms with the idea that she can’t keep them. Tess will sit calmly to greet strangers, luring them into petting her, and then gently take their hand, sleeve, or sweatshirt toggle in her mouth to prevent them from leaving. Even Tessa’s reticent feline sibling has been slowly worn down by her unrelenting enthusiasm and the two now charge around the house in elaborate games of tag.

Never one for modesty, this goofy girl prefers to sleep in her ‘otter’ pose. It’s so typical to see her lying this way, that we imagine she spent a past life eating shellfish while floating on ocean waves. We even bought her an otter stuffie and the two are inseparable.

Tessa would love to help support her wild cousins, especially if she can do so by posing like the princess she thinks she is.
