Pet's Story or Bio
Tank became our foster failure after 2 other family's became adoption failures. He got to the rescue after his male owner was sent to a mental facility. Tank was very overweight and since lost 30 lbs. He has sever separation anxiety, which cost him most his teeth and several scars before life at the rescue. He requires daily medication, a pheromone collar and thunder shirt without metal kenneling for a normal happy life. This past Christmas, Tank beat the odds and survived Bloat or GDV and remains in good health. He now, for over 3 years, has had a sister Onyx (also a lab/boxer rescue dog), love of two children and parents. Tank sleeps on a tempurpedic bed every day/night, frequent belly rubs, which are his favorite, bunny chases with his sister, and lovin's from his Mommy. "Nubbins" is one of our affectionate nicknames for him.
