Shaver is 5 years old. He is named after singer songwriter Billy Joe Shaver because I got him the day Billy Joe died. His previous owner had tried to make a blood trail dog out of him, but he said Shaver just wanted to lie around on the couch. He is quite the snuggler and demands all your attention. He sometimes goes in the river, but only up to his ankles.
