Maddux, KC and Gigi were all adopted from WRS. Maddux, who was adopted in 2022, was diagnosed with stage 5 lymphoma in May and is undergoing weekly chemo treatments. He is currently doing great in his fight against cancer and we couldn’t be happier. KC was adopted in 2021 and is one of the sweetest, smartest and loving Weims we’ve ever had! Gigi came to us as a foster in November 2022. From the moment we picked her up, she had our hearts. We decided to make it official on Fathers Day, June 16th, of this year. Unfortunately, Gigi was diagnosed with kidney disease on Monday, July 22nd and on Wednesday, July 24th, we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Our hearts are broken over the loss, but we know she is no longer in any pain. We are so thankful to WRS for matching us with three of the most amazing dogs.
