Miranda(Mir Mir) was a rescue adoption facilitated by WRS. When her pregnant mother, who had been pulled from a kill shelter and was in very bad shape, gave birth - only four puppies survived. On August 1st 2019 we lost Miranda to myelin sheath cancer and kidney disease, she would have been 11 in November. We all miss her terribly, but our other WRS rescue, Opie, misses her the most. They were very attached and often(too often) partners in "weim" crimes. She is now running pain free in the heavens with her beloved Jackson(another WRS alum - the original Jackson) who preceded her in death a few years ago.
