Maximus is a WRS dog and he was adopted by my family in July of 2011. When we adopted him, his name was Manny but we changed it because Maximus just suited him better. He came into my life six months after I lost my maternal grandmother and his presence helped me to not only cope with the lost, but to continue enjoying life as well as living in the moment. Even though he loves to run and chase squirrels or birds in the backyard, this picture shows him relaxing on his bed which is his favorite pastime.
