Gypsy came to us as a very under weight and sick girl at one year and a half she only weighed 35lbs . Her owner had surrendered her to the local animal shelter. She was scared and very untrusting. I was working at the local animal hospital when she came in to get a spay done. She was skin and bone and being a Weimaraner lover I immediately took to her, I just had to help her. And that next day I adopted her and took her home. Her new brother, our at that time 9 year old Weim Jaeger, was so patient with her and helped her adjust to inside living and to trust her new family. She was from a place where she was kept outside by herself all the time in all weather conditions in a 5'x5' cement floor cyclone fence we came to find out. The poor baby did not know what to do when we opened the door to let her in. With love and patience she became a wonderful addition to our family. After Jaegers passing last year she has been a huge comfort to us. We have had her for 4 years now and hope to have many more with her and enjoy new adventures with this sweet girl. From caterpillar hiding in the shadows to butterfly beautiful and free, she has become a fun loving, goofy, Velcro to your leg love of our lives. Our Gypsy Girl!
