In memory of the original "Jackson" adopted from WRS in November of 2003. He was discovered very thin, covered with mange roaming around on his own in Slidell, LA, transferred to Jackson, MS where he was picked up by WRS and named accordingly. Jackson was 2 or 3 when he found his forever home with us after a couple of other failed attempts. We lost him in March of 2016 and miss him very much! He was quite a character, handsome, sociable, full of personality, very good natured, a skilled hunter, a yard terrorist, funny, and indefatigable until the end. Thank you WRS for over 12 years of love and joy from Jackson!
