Your Pet's Story or BioBonnie was brought into AWLA when she was around 10 days old by a laborer who found her alone on a construction site. As a bottle baby and a singleton, the odds were against her. I volunteered to foster her. I had recently started full-time telework due to COVID precautions at my office so was in a unique position to do round the clock feedings. It was my first bottle baby in years and I should've known I would foster fail. I tried to give her up so she could find a home with other young cats but when her adoption fell through, I couldn't stand to lose another night's sleep over it and decided to adopt her myself. We've been slowly integrating her into the home and the 10 yr old resident cats are tolerating her kitten energy pretty well so far. She also loves to serve as a big sister to the younger litter of fosters currently squatting in the foster room. Bonnie is sweet and spicy, and a great telework buddy. Please vote for her, and help the next Bonnie Bear that comes into the shelter with no family and little hope.
