We had promised our daughter that when she turned 5 we would adopt a dog. After months of trying and failing to find a child-family dog to adopt we finally found Juno at a local adoption event. She was sitting in a corner by herself in a pen full of other adoptable dogs, looking kind of sad. When we stopped outside the pen and started looking at her, she kind of smiled then walked over to us. She chose us! She is an incredibly sweet, mellow dog that quickly settled into our daily lives. We have had her for 10 years now and she has become an integral member of our family.
