Your Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted sweet Leo on March at the start of quarantine. He has been a joy to get to know and has given me purpose during this difficult time. Leo was very popular with the AWLA staff—and it’s easy to see why! He is quite the snuggler, but also has a real playful side. Leo showed some anxiety while at the shelter, but now that he knows he’s in his fur-ever home, he is comfortable and confident. He was even able to come off his anxiety medication! Leo’s two outdoor passions are keeping his ears pricked for squirrels and finding a good patch of grass to roll around in. Snuggling in one of his human’s laps and sneaking around to steal socks are his favorite indoor activities! Leo loves taking part in my daily Zoom calls for work and has become popular with my students! He thinks he is an excellent co-teacher, even if he ends up eating some of my paperwork as a snack.
