Military life is tough. It can be lonely, too. That’s where Beau came in. I found him at the shelter at my first duty station - he was obviously scared, but trying his hardest to be brave. I recognized a kindred spirit in him and he has been my partner in crime ever since, sticking it out through moves and deployments. He’s so much more than just a dog - he’s my best buddy, my emotional support, and my sanity all in one energetic bundle of fur.
