Reggies original owner had suddenly died. She was an older lady who had adopted him as a puppy. I was told she nursed him thru parvo. He changed hands a couple of times, not settling in well. I had put my previous goldendoodle down a a year and a half earlier due to illness. My heart was broken. My co workers knew his story and said he needed an "older lady with a quiet home", and they thought of me, lol. Our first visit, he won my heart. My daughter said "I think he needs you as much as you need him". She was so right. He's my constant companion, my best bud. He's great with my grandchildren. He was meant to be my boy. I couldn't love him more.
