Gertrude, affectionately known as Nerdie Gerdie, serves as our class helper. To align with our classroom theme, 'why blend in when you can stand out,' her hair was colored. She is part of a specialized program tailored to facilitate unique learning styles. Gerdie's distinctive appearance features purple cheetah print with hearts and smiley faces. She has a profound affection for her students. Gerdie's preferences include car rides to obtain pup cups and homemade French Bulldog treats crafted by Hadlie. While math is not her forte, she delights in students reading to her and practicing life skills. Her leisure time is spent engaging in ball and tug games with Finley, our school dog, during lunch breaks. Gerdie brings immense joy, laughter, and provides emotional support to her students, helping alleviate anxiety and fears while radiating love.
