A little about me...
Malia is a puppy mill survivor who was brought to WCHS on Easter weekend, 2018. Terrified, she went to stay with her foster mom for a few days. When she returned to WCHS to be spayed, a mass was found in her throat and further diagnosis was needed. She was adopted (by her smitten foster mom) and the mass was found to be scar tissue from an amateurish attempt to debark her. Malia is a gentle soul, loving and kind, and always tries to do whatever is asked of her. She is endlessly patient with her siblings and thrilled whenever new foster babies arrive, insisting on helping and sitting with them every evening. She is timid and afraid of walks but loves to go on car rides (especially through the drive-through for ice cream!).
