Pet's Story or Bio
Parker is the ultimate survivor. In 2016, when he was a frightened 5 month old puppy, he was rescued from a kill shelter in Oklahoma,, brought to WHS and adopted by our family. Shortly after his 8th birthday, he developed diabetes, and not long after that a deadly case of pancreatitis. After spending 11 days at a vet hospital, with eight of them being in intensive care, he returned home, 23 pounds lighter, but oh so happy to be back with his family.
