Pet's Story or Bio
Mia found her furever home on April 24, 2012. She was about two years when I adopted her from the Wisconsin Humane Society - Milwaukee campus. Mia came from Tenessee and she was scared of the world. Mia is about 14 years old now, she is the first to greet anyone, is full of confidence, and goes on endless adventures. She loves camping, overnight canoe trips down the Wisconsin river, tubing down the Wolf river, and enjoys spending time at our cabin in the north woods. Mia is a working girl who is always guarding me and protecting the house. She demands a cheese tax anytime we cook, she barks at me if I am spending too much time on my phone, she loves butt rubs, pup cups, and being Mama Mia to the other dogs. She makes sure to clean the other dogs faces, ears, and she is just the best girl in the world. If anyone asks her if she is the best girl, she has no problem barking in agreement. This photo was taken July 2024 while we were canoeing down the Fox river. Mia is a true Wisconsin girl now who is very wanted and very loved.
