Pet's Story or Bio
Truman Capote is a WHS Alumnus, a shelter transfer from Alabama, which explains why he is named after another small, cranky Alabaman. He is an 9-year-old, 6-pound bundle of contradictions who looks adorable but behaves in a manner that would make St. Francis of Assisi* drink gin out of a dog dish. He has gone from having one good eye to having only one eye at all so let's hope that eye stays good! He loves his mother so much she sometimes refers to him as Norman Bates** and trails her everywhere throughout the house. Everywhere. All the time. He either doesn't know or doesn't care that he's small and consequently, acts quite the fool around larger dogs. And yet, he is adored and pampered at a level that would make the late Queen Elizabeth's corgis spit out their dry English kibble and bark "Wait. What? How does HE rate ?!" In short, he is one in a million (thank goodness one might say) and at the end of the day, a very good boy indeed.
