Pet's Story or Bio
Jaymes (previously named James) is a former 2018 resident of WHS-Milwaukee Campus. His destined to be human dad was drawn to Jaymes' online profile which read "shy dog, age 6." A visit to WHS the next day in which his future dad got to meet Jaymes and pet him after more than an hour of sitting in the kennel, sealed the deal. Jaymes became a member of our two person and one puppy dog family. After 6-months of unconditional love filled with confidence building and learning new tricks from his Labrador puppy brother, Jaymes overcame his submissiveness. His submissive urination ceased, he gave paw and kisses, and showed off his hidden obedience skills. His daily walks at the dog park showed others how far he'd come. He continues to show his family, which now consists of his fur brother and a younger adopted fur sister who teaches him the art of play, how far he's come. Jaymes, now almost age 12, enjoys daily walks, spending time with his humans and fur siblings, giving paw, and mostly giving kisses. The submitted picture is of Jaymes engaged in kissy face with him mom who was wearing her favorite lipstick that day!
