Remy adopted our family 6 years ago. We came to OHS looking for a companion for me after my divorce. We looked around and my son said that Remy looked lonely in his room. We went in for a visit. I was skeptical. He was skinny as a rail and very sad looking. He immediately jumped into my son's lap then to mine. I lost my heart to him. He was ours from that point on. Nellie was adopted through Midwest Beagle Rescue because Remy needed a companion. He became depressed after my son left for college and took his dog with him. Nellie changed his attitude immediately! They keep us humble! They always greet us at the door when we come home! Remy barks and Nellie has the traditional ahroo of the beagle when they want attention. I love to see them chase each other at top speed around our backyard nipping at each other's heels. Watch out bunnies and squirrels, Remy and Nellie are on your trail!
