Pet's Story or BioBentley was rescued from the Milwaukee campus of the Humane Society in September 2017. At that time, he was terrified of other dogs, unsure about how to interact with people, and unable to relax for any amount of time due to high anxiety. He was constantly barking and constantly moving. He had even been returned to the shelter once due to his hyperactivity.
Once he found the support and stability of his forever home, Bentley was able to gain confidence around strange people and animals and become comfortable and relaxed in his daily life. He now enjoys spending his senior years laying in the sunshine, eating carrot sticks, taking long walks, playing tug-of-war, and sleeping in a blanket on his own safe couch. He loves people and being petted, and brings joy and love into the life of anyone who meets him.
