Prizes

• The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entrants that get the most votes. The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2023 calendar plus a $200 voucher from Northwest Naturals, Wisdom Panel DNA Kit from OHS, and free enrollment in Surf's Pup Doggy Lounge's first aid course! 2nd-13th place winners will have their dog featured as a dog of the month and receive a bandana from Butthead Bandanaz. Entries featuring two dogs will share a month if they place among the top 13 vote-getters. The top 13 vote-getters will have their dog professionally photographed by Kim Hoshal Photography for the 2023 calendar.
• All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products and images following their session if desired.

*If your dog is one of the 13 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be available for a photo session between late May to July 2022. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote-getter will take your dog's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.


One entrant each week who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week (Sunday through Saturday) will win a mini-contest prize from one or more of the participating Portland area businesses. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible entrants. We will announce the mini-contest winners every Monday.

Week one prize:
This week's Dining Out themed prize includes a $40 gift card from Tin Shed, an Oregon Humane Society collapsible Kurgo Water Bowl, a Pup Passport, a Brew Pup pack, and a $25 gift card from Pet Wants Pearl District, a prize pack from Mcmenamin's 23rd Ave Bottle Shop ($50 gift card, 2 McMenamins pint glasses and 4-pack of McMenamins beer or cider),  OHS Beanie, and a waste bag holder and $50 gift card from Upper Paw PDX. The entry with the most votes on March 26th, 8 p.m. PDT wins!

Week two prize:
This week's  Hanging Out at Home themed prize includes 3 Dog Enterprises Nose-N-Nibble snuffle mat, Clyde Dog 5-pack of treats, 2 Muttloafs from Fetch, Woven Wool Dog Bed from Iggynono, Oregon Humane Society glass treat jar, Oregon Humane Society hardcover OHS History Book, and a $15 gift card from Pistils for a dog-friendly plant. The entry with the most NEW votes from March 27th to April 2nd, 8 p.m. PDT wins!

Week three prize:
This week's Talking a Walk themed prize includes Clyde Dog 5-pack of treats, free enrollment to Surf's Pup Doggy Lounge's first aid course, a Pup Passport,  a waste bag holder from Upper Paw PDX, Oregon Humane Society branded 50/50 water bottle, Hatphile Beanie, and Kurgo Tru-Fit Smart Harness.  The entry with the most NEW votes from April 3rd to April 9th, 8 p.m. PDT wins!

Week four prize:
This week's Feed Me themed prize includes 5 meals and 6 bags of treats from Portland Pet Food Company, $50 gift certificate to Pawsh Pet Cafe, a Pup Passport, a $25 gift card from Sugah's Cookies and Cakes, and a prize basket from Wild Pet Provisions.  The entry with the most NEW votes from April 10th to April 16th , 8 p.m. PDT wins!

Week five prize:
This week's Pamper Me themed prize includes a massage from Revive Animal Massage, an 8x10 et portrait from Amy Wike Art, the Botanical Cleaner Duo from Patika Pet, a waste bag holder and heart dog toy from Wag Theory, $25 Shampooch gift certificate, OHS Hardcover History Book, and a set of dog greeting cards from Fioletta Arts.  The entry with the most NEW votes from April 17th to April 23rd , 8 p.m. PDT wins!

National Pet Day Raffle: April 11th
To celebrate National Pet Day, all dogs that are entered into the contest by April 11th at 8pm will be eligible to be entered into a raffle to win a bulk food voucher from Northwest Naturals and a bandana from Butthead Bandanaz. *
