Pet's Story
To say Maverick is the best dog ever is an understatement. Maverick is the dog that everyone says, "I don't even like dogs, but I like Maverick." I've had him since he was a puppy, and we have been through a lot together. We are the only constant in each other's lives for the past 11+ years. When an inoperable nasal tumor was found early last year, it was devastating. Things did not look promising, and Maverick's best case scenario did not see him making it more than a few months more. But Maverick is stubborn, and neither of us were ready to say goodbye. And here we are, almost 18 months later, and getting ready to celebrate his 12 birthday. He is strong, resilient, and still full of energy!
