Pet's Story
I adopted Rue from the WHS when she was 1. She had been abandoned by her previous owner and left outside in a cage with another sick cat. When she was rescued she needed to be treated for a viral infection, pancreatitis, and even needed abdominal surgery. Rue was so strong and regained her health. I knew within seconds of meeting Rue that I wanted to invite her into my life. I remember going to meet her and she immediately came up to me and started licking my fingers. I've now had Rue in my family for 3 years. She enjoys naps, looking at the birds out the window, parkour, and morning head scratches. Rue has brightened everyday that I have gotten to share with her. I couldn't ask for a better best friend.
