Pet's Story
Sprout was adopted from the Pembina Valley Humane Society in Morden, Manitoba. She wandered into the city & found her temporary home at PVHS. My husband & I were looking to add to our family & her adorable & fluffy self stole our hearts when we came across her photo on the website. When we first met her, we were unsure if we were going to adopt her that day, we wanted to meet her first, but the moment the door to the humane society opened & her wiggly butt greeted us, we knew she was going to be ours forever. There is no greater joy than meeting your best friend, & it was an even greater joy seeing your husband meet & have his very first dog. He’s dreamt of this moment his whole life.
She’s been with us for two years, she’s three years old, & she has changed our lives. She’s been by our side through many milestones, including walking down the aisle with my husband at our wedding.
Her days include sitting on your lap (because it’s her favourite place to be), to naps with or without us, car rides, basking under a plant leaf by the window surveying the neighbourhood, walks, playing with her sister Donut (who joined our family earlier this year), & spending time with her dog aunts, Luna & Mango. She’s brought endless joy to our lives & those around her. The local pet store knows her, the vet adores her, & so do her dog friends & her family. She’s an expert at cuddles & kisses, & always makes sure you feel loved.
From wandering the streets of Morden, to wandering right into our lives, and snuggling her way into our hearts. Our lives have sprouted with endless joy since Sprout joined our family.
