Pet's Story
Lucy is our almost 5 year old rescue. Although now she would be described as loving, cuddly and goofy she had an extremely rough start to life. Lucy spent the first 10 months of her life chained up and unfortunately as she grew the chain around her neck was not loosened. Thankfully, she was rescued by Spirit of Hope and with the dedicated effort and time from her amazing foster family she learned to love and her neck injuries healed quickly. Lucy loves playing, other dogs and being the little spoon. She loves people so much that that you’d never know how her life started. We know first hand how important rescues are in Manitoba. We’re hoping Lucy’s cute face can help raise funds for the incredibly critical work the humane society and all other rescues in Manitoba do.
