Pet's Story or Bio
Tundra was adopted from the Seattle Animal Shelter as a 4.5 month old puppy. We weren’t looking for a puppy. We definitely weren’t looking for a female malamute puppy but the universe had other plans. We had just lost Sterling, my soul dog and his best friend Walker was not doing well but it seemed as though Sterling moved mountains for this not so little girl to come home with me. Tundra has been everything I didn’t want and everything we needed. We lost Walker, our other malamute shortly after adopting her and she has filled our hearts with so much love and helped us heal in ways I didn’t know were possible. Sometimes she mimics their mannerisms and it’s bittersweet. This girl is the sweetest teddy bear and has filled our hearts with joy and love. She also carried on her brother’s legacies and started volunteering as an ambassadog for WAMAL last September. I think they would be proud of her!
