Pet's Story or Bio
Bogart was a shelter boy in South Carolina before making his way here to New2U Rescue, where we adopted him from in 2021. I called him Bobo. He was the silliest, goofiest boy. He had the most expressive eyes and ears. Bobo always crossed his paws like a perfect gentleman. He hated all fruit and loved cottage cheese. He was terrified of thunder and fireworks and despised motorcycles. He liked to play independently, squeaking and tossing his toys around by himself. He loved chasing squirrels and even caught a few. Going for rides in the car was Bobo's favorite. He would stand by the front door and bark nonstop when he thought it was time to go and could often persuade me to take him for a joy ride. He frequently went to Turning Point and Durand Eastman parks for walks. Whenever he saw deer there, he would get so excited and jump up and down and squeal. He was taking a walk through our neighborhood park on Saturday, July 6th and was hit with an arrow from a crossbow that neighbors were shooting in their yard. He tragically died from his injuries a month later at the young age of five. Bogart's life was cut short, but he will forever be in my heart.
