Pet's Story or Bio
"Chessa Baby" as I call her, is my 4 year old RESCUE Pitbull Mix. She was found abandoned with an embedded collar, underweight and pregnant with 11 puppies in a trashy backyard. Neighbors called Summit Humane Society where they rescued her, she gave birth to her 11 puppies at the shelter, sadly only 8 puppies made it. The day I walked into the shelter to "look around", I didn't think I was going to fall in love and leave with a best friend. When I laid my eyes on Chessa, I just couldn't say no. We connected, we made eye contact and she wouldn't look away. It's like she was telling me to take her home and wouldn't stop until I did. Those "puppy" eyes are what did it. She is the most sweet, silly, gentle and playful girl. Coming from where she was, her transformation is truly amazing! I wish everyone had a chance to meet my best girl, Chessa!
