Shelby and Bullitt are both rescues. Shelby from the Cleveland City Kennel and Bullitt from the Cleveland APL. It was a rocky start for these two, Shelby was fearful of just about everything when I brought her home; her little body carries multiple scars. We couldn't vacuum, sweep, use a blow dryer, or even a mixer without fear causing her to go after whatever appliance we tried to use. It was heartbreaking. We went through many vacuum hoses-Dyson is on my speed dial...lol. After months of hard work she's getting along with almost every appliance in the house! Bullitt was returned 3 times before I adopted him! He did not even want to be petted. If you reached for him, he walked the other direction. They did not get along those first few weeks. Now, however is a totally different story! Shelby and Bullitt sleep in a king size bed snuggled together. Shelby loves company and adores attention. Bullitt has also done a complete 180. He likes to give five, he even rides on my shoulders. If you sit on the floor at my house a dog WILL sit in your lap! They are in a safe FUREVER home and are ready to tackle everything life throws at them together (they are joined at the hip now)!! This is them in my 1923 T-bucket.
