Sassafras was adopted from HRA in 2017 at about 6 months old. Story has it that a Good Samaritan found her in a trash can in Prince Georges County, but brought her to DC to give her a better chance at finding a home, due to the breed restrictions in PG County.

Sass is a small, smart girl with a HUGE personality. She always wants to be involved, loves everyone and always down for a walkie.

She loves tennis balls and chewing her bones but defluffing her stuffies are her speciality.

Sassafras is 7, almost 8 now and she still has as much spunk as she did when we first adopted her! We are so lucky to have her in our lives!
