In 2022, at the age of 10 years old, Pippa arrived at BARCS where she was nervous and shy. After 5 weeks in the shelter, I fostered Pippa (then named Pretty Girl) and fell in love with her spunky personality. During her spay surgery, she had two mammary masses removed and biopsied. One of the masses was determined to be malignant and she was diagnosed with stage 3 mammary carcinoma and 6-8 months to live.

Fast forward to the present, Pippa is doing great and is still a spunky senior! She loves sunbathing, pup cups, napping, and cuddling with mom.
