I was born in a small Texas town. I lived in a barn with lots of other puppies. One day a big storm came, and we were left in the dark. We got very cold and hungry. A human took me, and I flew in the air and ended up in a small Ontario town. I fell in love with two humans and was having fun when one day I fell down and couldn't get up. I thought I was going to die. I was very sick and found out I had a thing called heartworm from my Texas home. I had to go to the vet. The humans there took very good care of me. Finally, after lots and lots of days, I can now run around and play again. Please raise a glass to the hard-working vets that take great care of us!
