Why everyone should vote for my animal
Winnie was the heart and soul of an adventure companion. Whether camping, paddle boarding, or running, she was there to partake. She was part of the SJ running, SJ frisbee, and St. Mac's family, as she would often join at the various events. Winnie represented unconditional love, unlimited joy, and resilience. Unfortunately, even with preventative measures in place, Winnie contracted Lyme disease. It became an eye-opening experience of the havoc a tick can reap on such a loving soul. Winnie lost her battle 6 months ago, but we are hoping to keep her spirit alive through awareness of the commonality of Lyme disease among our treasured fur companions and the incredible work vets do to fight for their health.
