Why everyone should vote for my animal
Sandy was rescued from the code red euth list at a Houston, Texas shelter after being picked up as a stray. She was about 9 months old. When Sandy arrived in NH completely shut down, we were shocked that an animal could be so terrified of the world. It's been a year and a half now, and Sandy has worked hard to overcome her traumatic past. She has learned to do so many things, and has so many more to conquer. She still pancakes to the ground, shivers and shakes, and tucks her tail on a daily basis as she continues to encounter scary things. But, her courage and willingness to trust us is truly amazing. It's hard to believe sometimes, but this girl's got guts. And, she's stolen our hearts!
